You are invited to an unusual dinner on Sunday, February 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the Barbara Smith Family Life Center.
This special meal will be your opportunity to find out more about the Alpha Course, which is a 10 week exploration of the meaning of life.
This is a course where questions are not only permitted, but encouraged! Questions like: “Why did Jesus die?”; “How does God guide us?”; “Does God heal today?” and many others will be on the menu throughout the 10 weeks, but also all the questions that you bring to the table!
The meal on February 12 is an introduction – no strings attached. If you feel intrigued or curious about what you hear, you will be invited to be a part of an Alpha group that will begin to meet the following week.
The only request we have of you is that you let us know that you will attend, so that we can prepare sufficiently. The meal will be free of cost to you.
If you plan to attend on Sunday, February 12, please write your name on the slip found in your bulletin and place it in the offering plate. Or you may contact the church during the week to make your reservation.
If you require child care, please let us know in advance — we will need to know the number and ages of the children.
