SUNDAY MORNINGS AT MUMC

At Marion United Methodist our children’s sunday school program begins at age 2 and continues through the 6th grade.  We begin each sunday morning at 9:30 with a sunday school assembly.  The children gather together to sing and watch a short video which relates to the lesson they will be studying.  We use the Live B.I.G.( Believe In God) program. Each grade studies the same Bible story with an age appropriate lesson.

During our worship service we have a children’s sermon, followed by children’s church for children ages 2 through kindergarten.  The lesson for children’s church is a continutation of the story they heard in sunday school.

 

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS AT MUMC

Each Wednesday afternoon school age children gather at Marion United Methodist for our Worship With Friends program.  This program is an afternoon packed with fun and fellowship for children grades kindergarten through the 6th grade.  During WWF the children will continue a lesson from the Live B.I.G. story they heard the previous sunday, snack, and have recreation time.

We begin each Wednesday at 3:15 and continue with our choir programs which begins at 5:15.

MUMC has three children’s choirs:

Wee Praise Kids    our preschool choir for children ages 3 and 4

Never Too Young    children in grades Kindergarten through the 3rd grade

Kids For Christ        children grades 4th through 6th.
